For a year, Denise has been trying to find a good home for her flop-eared bunny, Sir Floof Floof.
Last week a new member came to the business meeting Denise attends regularly. The new guy, Bob, owns a tree service business.
The oak trees around Denise’s house are large, and huge branches have begun to crash to the ground on windy days.
Denise asked Bob to come to her property and provide a quote on what it would cost to have some oak trees removed.
Bob met Sir Floof Floof. They bonded.
Turns out that Bob raises lop eared bunnies.
This story ends happily. Bob gets a new bunny. Sir Floof Floof is in a bunny-loving home. Denise’s problem is solved.
What are the odds of these circumstances coming together in what we blithely call a coincidence?
What would have happened had Denise not waited a year? The end of the story probably wouldn’t have turned out so perfectly for all involved. (Bob got some tree business, to boot!)
The theme of the “In Touch” magazine I’m reading is patience, patience, patience. Wait for God’s answer.
I think this bunny story is an example of God in action.
Patience. Patience. Patience. The bunny lover will arrive.
